The standard material for the spiral is Swedish steel, and it can also be made of stainless steel. It is possible to sell the spiral as a standalone product. It is also possible to replace the interior of an existing screw conveyor casing with a spiral while keeping the casing itself intact. It is fully sealed, making it suitable for odor control during the transportation of dewatered sludge or screenings.
